9–9-21    THOUGHTS  

A marvelous prophecy follows.  From Egypt to Christ, God worked in the lives of men to bring about HIS PURPOSES!  The latter glory of the Jerusalem temple never physically exceeded the glory of Solomon’s structure!  But THE GLORY OF GOD  on earth expanded beyond description when  Messiah came to earth!  Nothing has ever been the same!  Spiritual peace reigns!  Ps 115:3   But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.

Hag 2:2-9     "Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people saying, 3  ‘Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison? 4  ‘But now take courage, Zerubbabel,’ declares the LORD, ‘take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,’ declares the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ declares the LORD of hosts. 5  ‘As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear!’ 6  "For thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. 7  ‘I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. 8  ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the LORD of hosts.  9  ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the LORD of hosts."

2Cor 3:6-11    who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 7  But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was, 8  how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory? 9  For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory. 10  For indeed what had glory, in this case has no glory because of the glory that surpasses it. 11  For if that which fades away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.

Hab 2:20   "But the LORD is in His holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before Him."

My Prayer:
It is You O Lord who has worked in the lives of men to bring us to Yourself.  Jesus saves, thank you O God.  Immerse us in your glory, that we may wait on you and give honor and reverence to your great name.  There is nothing that is not yours O God, may we be yours through eternity.  We ask that we may abide in your presence continually.
